I've lived in several major metropolitan areas in my life and have never seen local sports media disrespect a local team as much as the media does in the state of Utah. It's been bizarre. Most major sports areas try to be fair and balanced with all the local teams, but oddly enough around here they've all decided that it's cool to be critical of BYU. There's a reason I stopped listening to local sports radio a long time ago. It's because it's incredibly poor quality sports analysis.
