When I first saw SGC long ago, I didn't know what it meant but got how it was used. Finally I decided it meant
"same ground covered" but eventually learned that it was Staley Got Cut. It was used for years after that and finally got dumped about maybe 3-4(?) years or so ago.
I still liked it but most had gotten tired of it. Really it was good to quit using his name in that way after it had been so long before.
