Utah by and large spent a decade telling us how they don’t care about BYU anymore and how they’ve moved on, so when Utah fans still show up to bag on BYU, it came across as annoying and hypocritical.

I speak for a many when I say I always cared about the rivalry so watching Utah go Three Mile Island for a moment is bringing a degree of satisfaction.
