FIRST: We need to beat USF and then navigate the next 5 weeks with several TOUGH opponents. there is too much work to be done to count our chickens before they hatch.

Anyway, I do feel like a 12-0 season gets us ranked about #6 with this schedule. . . We have some quality wins against P5 schools, but at this point in time we have not beat any blue bloods and the schedule does not look like we will have a lot of wins against teams that finish the season in the Top 25.

But at the same time we have yet to get the offense to play a full 4 quarters of football and they need to make some major improvements. So personally thinking I would rather BYU end up ranked #5 then ranked #4. . . as playing Alabama would likely expose BYU's weaknesses and it would be better if we were like UCF in 2017 and ended the season 13-0.

On a related note, I always knew the Pac12 was petty. But the fact that they are tanking their entire conference just so BYU going 5-0 against the Pac 12 doesn't look as good . . . this is a new low for the yewts and their conference.
