Guy sees my BYU shirt and walks up to me in a California airport
I assume he is an ASU fan.
Him: “BYU sure got lucky on Saturday. ASU blew it”
Me: “yea they had a rough game, I guess they’re just not used to the Big 12 level of competition” 🙂
Him: “Ha BYU played fine, but those turnovers and penalties were what rlly did ASU in. If they had just played okay, it would’ve been a blowout”
Me: “Maybe! BYU also didn’t play that great though…
They sometimes have a tendency of stooping to the level of the competition they’re playing”
