My BIL lost his father last year to COVID. And a sister this year.

Close friends have lost parents, siblings, and close family members.

We've lost good neighbors and friends in our ward.

I've had good friends contract it and have, over a year later, severe neurological, respiratory, and cardiac side effects.

All of varying ages, health, and conditions, but most in good health. And now even some who were vaccinated.

And yet, this attitude of "It's just a bad cold" still persists among the obstinate in our ward. And on this board.

So sad.
