Great team. True. One Worthy of playing in the NC game? No.
We didn’t get to play the best team, one worthy of a NC game. We played a very good Michigan team and narrowly beat them.
So it went to the votes and we won. It counts.
Of course, the NC then based 100% on the opinions of AP voters. Opinions. So while people can’t argue who the 1984 AP Champ was, they can argue who the best team was. It’s a literally a matter of opinion. No need to be hurt by others’ opinions.
