IceCreamButt Intervention Needed

Recruiting is much much much more important than SOS for 1 year. Cheering for

Utah in anyway is illogical if you are a BYU fan.

Utes losing a lot helps us with recruits a lot and slightly hurts SOS.

Utes winning a lot slightly helps our SOS but really hurts our recruiting.

Recruiting is the lifeblood of college football year in year out, someone who might have gone to BYU but decided on Utah because they ended up having a good season still hurts the team for years and helps Utah for years. It helps our SOS for 1 year and not much honestly.

The reverse is true. A recruit that chose us over Utah because they had a bad season helps us for years, hurts Utah for years, and our SOS takes a small hit for 1 year. I will take that all day every day.

When? Utah has only lost like 3-4 non-conference games since joining the PAC 12. 2 of those are this year.
