Making the CFP, even if we lose in the first round, would be monumental.
It would be historic. It would be a massive signal to the CFB world that an outsider does indeed have a chance, however miniscule. It would be arguably the biggest accomplishment in the history of BYU football (yes, even greater than winning the national championship).
But for precisely all the reasons above, it will never happen.
