Apparently it’s inability to promise a new stadium kept Memphis out of the B12
Reportedly the outgoing Memphis president didn’t want to saddle the new president with the burden of a promised new on campus football stadium. If true that is a terrible decision considering the long term revenue difference between the B12 and AAC.
Honest question: In 2016 if the B12 would’ve told BYU to build a new stadium and they’d get an invite, how long would it have taken BYU to raise the money?
