while bowhunting a month ago. I was fishing at dusk and had it out on the shore. I didnt realize I lost it until later that week when I stopped to fish another pond. I was upset with myself for being so careless as the bag had 5 reels/spools, line, leader, tools, and dozens of hours worth of flies I had tied. It was a painful loss.
I just got a call from a guy from Newcastle, UT who was driving the road and noticed a bag on the shoulder. Apparently I left it on my car, not on the shore somewhere. Fortunately I had a fishing license with my contact info on it in the bag. Dude was honest enough to call me and is going to drop it in the mail. Pretty incredible.
