A good and mature fan base has perspective. They express support for a team and it’s coaches when they have put the team
in the historically-great position they are in now.
They don’t call for firing coaches and call parts of the team or the team itself “an embarrassment”.
Most of CB is not that extreme, thankfully. But still overly depressed in general for what is going on with BYU football.
Recognizing weaknesses that need to improve is fine, and for the coaches it’s essential. But the tone on CB last night was like the sky is falling on this undefeated team. May not representative. May be a vocal minority of the overall fan base.
But that’s not “mature” or accurate.

It somehow continues to amaze me (it shouldn’t anymore, I know) how depressed CB can be in a win. WE. ARE. UNDEFEATED.
