I like this game. Next, let's imagine that our offense never punted and averaged
87 points per game and had a perfect 50/50 balance between the run and pass games.
Now imagine us doing that against a P5 schedule every year for the past 10 seasons.
The results of that scenario would be:
- 10 national championships.
- 9 Heisman trophies.
- Millions of additional convert baptisms.
Not only is it unacceptable to have a DC who allows first downs, but it's also unacceptable to have an OC whose teams have to punt. I say we fire Tuiaki AND Roderick and go out and find some coordinators who can pull this off. This mediocrity is unacceptable.
