I had never even heard of it, until I was looking for things to do around Vegas. It's beautiful place. I love red rock and have seen a lot of southern Utah, but there was something very unique about Valley of Fire. It looked like some of what you see in southern Utah, but it looked like the rocks had been under much more distress and turmoil in a really cool way. We didn't see any wildlife, but this looks like a good reason to go back.
But I would highly recommend Valley of Fire for anyone that hasn't been.
