We really enjoyed it. Kayaking through the mangroves at sunset was really
beautiful and tranquil. You get to the bay as it's getting dark and the guides talk about some astronomy things and you do some star-gazing. Then once it gets really dark you can start seeing the bioluminescent algae. It isn't nearly as bright as they make it look in the pictures, but in some areas of the bay it lights up fairly bright. About as bright as fireflies. It's a cool experience and kayaking back through the mangroves at night is pretty neat, and a little eerie.
