pointing out the defense was not what we'd like and didnt perform as expected against a bad BSU O line, but I have not seen anybody who has put more blame for the loss on the defense than on poor offense and turnovers. I believe that even the biggest Tuiaki critics, of which I'm probably one, acknowledge 4 turnovers was the crusher.
Would I have loved to see more pressure, to try and get a turnover, or force shorter possessions — of course and thats my continual issue with Tuiaki. And did the situation call for becoming more aggressive to try and give the offense more possessions and hopefully get going? In my opinion yes.
