I would probably go to sort of Part Time.....
There are parts of my job that are really really fun. I would keep doing those.
In my dream scenario ...
We MOVE to someplace else (closer to family), but then I come back here to work on some projects for a week or two at time. I do some projects remotely from the new place.
SOME of what I do is sooooo fun, I would hate to lose that.
