I went to 1986 Jamaica Sunsplash in montego Bay Jamaica.. basically 8 days in a row of Reggae music day and night including some hardcore dancehall music one night. During that night despite 12 ft barbed wire fences the local community surged over the fence and there was basically 68000 or so people listening to dancehall music. Hooligans and gangs everywhere. Me and about two dozen other people we're pretty much the only white people in the whole group. So the Dancehall band starts playing anti-apartheid music and death to white people Type lyrics. Slightly awkward a little bit scary but fun nonetheless.
