There’s a lot more to this…
Coaches know more. I lean a little more towards Baylor but I don’t know best. There are intangible factors that none of us knows, but that coaches can see during practice and off camera. Here’s two just for example:
1. Leadership. Jaren may have won the trust of the guys in the huddle in a way that Baylor has not yet. Who knows for sure though.
2. Momentum. Maybe Jaren’s play style and potential cause bigger momentum swings for BYU’s offense, and defense for that matter.
