It's not just that - the taxes and fees, major companies are avoiding it too. Plenty of work elsewehre and
then they don't have to have two comp plans.
Truckers get paid by the mile and in CA to comp them you have to have a whole other comp plan bcause so many jobs are low mileage. Not worth the effort.
