Nobody likes it.

Not sure what power is preventing a change. Could be an umpires union or some kind of metric that gives broadcasters more money the way it is because going 100% electronic might make the game a bit faster and they'd lose some add revenue. I really don't know, but I don't know a soul that likes having bad strike/ball calls.
