With the WCC conference home games this year are:
Pacific, Saint Mary's, San Diego, Portland, San Francisco, Gonzaga, LMU and Pepperdine.
Maybe 2 sell outs, with lots of empty seats for some games.
This is Texas Tech's home games this year. I assume we would get something similar:
Oklahoma State, Kansas, Iowa State, West Virginia, Mississipi state (B12 SEC challenge), Texas, TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma and Kansas State.
5 sell outs with all the other games filling up.
I'd say this alone is worth a million dollars. This doesn't even count if we get into better early season tournaments and get better preconference play schedules. (Maybe keeping games with gonzaga and saint mary's?)
But I do think we stay till 2023. BYU basketball seems satisfied to stay till then.
*one more edit: in 2019-2020 KSL published this article. It highlighed that the average fans per game was 12,626 in 2019-2020 season. Marriot center capacity is at 19,000. So there's lots of money that can be added to Basketball ticket sales.*
