No argument that the better teams tend to tackle better. Broken tackles =
more first downs = more points = more wins.
IMO I'd do more live tackling in practice. Not 1s against 1st but I'd do 1s against 3rd stringers and walk-ons all day long. Even that isn't perfect because tackling a lesser level of talent is not the same as tackling a starter but you have to do something to improve that critical skill.
