Looking for something to use for communicating with the elders quorum, both for our presidency and for the quorum generally (information on activities, family needs, etc.). We are a relatively small ward in California. We don't have frequent social activities but occasionally want to put out the word that we're golfing on a Saturday as a quorum, having an informal watch party for a BYU game, need some elders to help set up chairs, etc.

Would love to hear what works for your ward or quorum. A few questions:

Will people even look at an app-based system? Are texts better?
Does Slack run well for those who only want to use it on their phones?
What do you like and not like about the systems you use?
