However, most P5s out recruited the Y. The only G5s that regularly out recruited the Y were mostly a few in large recruiting hotspots. Now that the Y has been announced as soon to be P5 we are having one of the best recruiting seasons in a very long time. Not coincidence. The recruiting will improve. The depth will improve. The starters for the Y were good enough to beat every team on our schedule. As the injuries have piled up it has been shown that our depth is not good enough to beat good teams after a few key injuries. Some weeks our depth may not be good enough to beat above average teams. We still have our first double digit win season against a regular (very good) schedule within grasp. Second double digit win season in a row is very possible. Go get it! Go Cougs!
