They buy some grossly expensive toy or spend a lot of money on something for their house or go on expensive vacations and then when they talk about it they always downplay the cost and say it was such a great deal.

Well fine but I can't afford to spend money the way they do. My money, what there is of it, gets spent or saved/invested in much more frugal ways. At least I think so. Some people might not. I do blow some money on stuff some people probably think is foolish.

I think some people are willing to go into debt, sometimes a lot of debt, for what they want to buy. I'm not willing to do that so I have to just watch and wonder how they are paying the bills.

It all depends on how we chose to manage our resources.
