It was an accident by a kid. The first reaction was the jerk who threw the pickle at a kid with sensory issues. Their child was no longer in a safe environment. It was more important to try and stabilize their son than hang around with an idiot, emotional, responder. They did the right thing for their child. After 2 days the poor kid still has not recovered from the incident. It may be that it will take many days or weeks for a hypersensitive child to feel safe in any multiperson stranger situation now. The fact is, your post is not only ignorant of what these children and their families deal with it lacks even a basic level of compassion.
