The current M1 Macbook Air
Its 1lb lighter.. and unless you are doing PRO things you won't notice the missing extra cores. It's still one of the best notebooks around (screen quality, battery life, speed... etc)
I'd look for a 16gb ram / 512gb HD version on sale... and save yourself $1k+
