It's different from mine, but there are apparently multiple prep methods.
I know that some do the double prep. Mine is fill the jug and then drink every 20 minutes until there's no color left in the stools. She might have mixed half and had it do the trick; I don't know the details, only the aftermath.

Mine was 'drink half at 5:30 PM, then the other half 4 hours before the procedure'. Choking down the last bit was tough.
