I have no idea about your particular case but insurance companies know how long
Dentistry typically lasts because they try to minimize the times they have to pay to replace it, and I’m not a general dentist so I don’t know the frequencies off the top of my head but I know they will often pay to redo a filling if needed after like 3 years, so 10 is not real surprising. Some work can last decades but that is the rare exception and more likely with less cosmetic old school dentistry like gold crowns.
