think I'd find it hard to want to interview a guy with hair like that. I mean, that's BIG hair, in a food service setting, he'd certainly have to put it up and use a hair net (a question he'd get asked in an interview), or cut it.

Of course his purpose is to show that he didn't get interviews, but I think the story refuses the bias that he might face for BIG HAIR, which to many managers is probably a bigger issue than shortage of employees.
