It should definitely be considered. Shouldn't be given priority over this years

performance, however. If you lose to an unranked team (looking at you, 'Bama) you should not be placed in the playoff over a Cincinnati that has been dominant. And Ohio St and Cincinnati each had one shot at a Top 12 opponent--Ohio St lost theirs. Plenty of season left to play, we'll see how it plays out.
