I almost caused a really bad wreck when I was 16.
I think back to that day a lot. I ever so narrowly avoided a head on accident. I was in a car with 3 other friends. The car I missed turned and followed me. It was 2 adults and some little kids. I still can't process or comprehend what I was thinking at that moment. I was 16. I didn't have the comprehension skills or instincts I now have. I get anxiety even now thinking about my stupid decision that day. I'm very grateful things turned out the way they did, but they could have easily gone a different way.

I will never agree with minors being charged as adults. Even the most horrific acts don't deserve being tried as adults. I just don't think kids think things through or comprehend everything like adults do or should.

Just my 2 dirty pennies worth.
