I don't mind a philosophical discussion on the spending habits of Americans. What I do mind is bad faith arguments.

I don't know Amanda Mull, but I bet anything she was 100% behind pandemic stimulus spending and direct transfers to tax payers. I bet she was 100% behind shutting down 'non essential' economy.

Don't cry and moan about pandemic related increases in spending when that was the whole freaking point of the stimulus spending. On top of that don't cry and moan when backed up demand is shifted to another quarter, and the supply chain has artificial restraints put on it.
