It’s probably De Smith calling in a favor. The NFLPA has called for the
release of all emails. The NFL has said “oh there aren’t any other bad ones, trust us.”
It was really stupid to leak the Gruden emails. The emails are irrelevant and Gruden wasn’t even employed by the NFL or any team at the time. Whoever did it should’ve assumed the union would’ve wanted to see every other email they reviewed.
