In that game vs Lehi at Lehi, Timp primarily advanced the ball in the second half on free kicks, many of which were flops. On the “PK” that was correctly called a flop, they had just advanced the ball from their own half on an egregious flop right in front of the Lehi sideline. The line judge with a clear view waived it off but the flop awarding ref over ruled it though she was on the other side of the field. It was so funny that they flopped to get a free kick on their own half and straight from that free kick that wasn’t earned they flop in the box on the receiving end of the flop free kick to get that PK that wasn’t a PK. The same thing happened on the PK. The line judge that had a clear view and was close to it had to convince the whistle happy ref who was at midfield that it was not a foul.

Timp doesn’t need to do it. It ruins the beautiful game. No other team in Utah does it to the level they do. Flopping is almost non-existent in US women’s soccer. Good luck to Timp next year #StopTheFlop
