A few days after surgery they had her in a care center. It took her a month to return home. A few months later she broke the other hip. This time they decided that because of the care centers strict visitors policy they weren’t going to do that again. She went to the care center for a day or two and then they transferred her to a private facility run out of a house. It had a nurse running the place with about 5 patients. They had a dr on call or something like that because as she had medical needs crop up the nurse would consult with a dr. she was able to have as many visitors as she wanted, you just had to sign in and report your temp and maybe wear a mask. She ended up dying within a few weeks - she was in a lot of pain and unconscious a lot of the time- but with her family around her. A far better way to go for her and her family.
