mascot. I don't know why it was so hard for the announcers in yesterday's game to not use the term "cougar" considering both sides were "cougars". I mean I don't know how many times on things like, "another cougar is down", etc. freaked me out with worry thinking it was one of our players or a good or bad play by us. Granted, it takes more of an effort to say Washington State, rather than cougar, but come on guys, that didn't show too much broadcasting ability. At least they could have said "red cougar" or "blue cougar" and it wouldn't have been confusing.

So either way, as a member of the PAC12 or Big 12, we'd be one of two "cougar" teams. I don't like that, but not the biggest deal in the world.
