Adrielle Let's go Brandon!
I thought Bronco was a good coach, but I am glad he moved on...
He did a very good job, especially int he MWC. He restored BYU to dominance in the conference before realignment and independence. One could argue that he saved the program when it was on the brink. There are reports that the BOT was considreing cacnelling th program in the wake of the Crwoton scandals.

Bronco had some great wins as HC and BYU had soem very good years while he was there.

But I do think that it was time for him to move on. He, for whatever reason, treated the HC job very differently than any other coach. I believe a meber of the 12 said things to him to go in that direction. Right or wrong, it was what Bronco felt he needed to do. But when I knew I was glad that he was gone when he revealed in 2016 that he did not believe that Independence was not sustainable. When he admitted to that I was glad that he was gone because at the time it was not clear that BYU would ever get to a P5, and if the status quo was Independence, we needed a coach that could be successful regardless of conference affiliation.

The other place where Bronco really fell short was in identifying talent and player development for the next level. Where Kalani has shined, IMO, has been in this department. Kalani's staff seems to do a far better job of devleping guys for the next level.

I will always hold Bronco in high regard and would give him a standing ovation if I were going to the game Saturday. Still doesn't mean that I don't really like Kalani and love the job he is doing.
