But whether it is metabolic or cravings it doesn’t matter, you can’t gain weight without eating food. You may have more cravings or be tempted to eat more calories but no one is putting a gun to your head.
I can successfully have a Coke Zero and still not eat any sweets during the day. It takes discipline but it’s possible. I’ve had just water and the cravings may be a little less but I view even a diet soda as a treat, I don’t want to live a life where I only have water and nothing else
