like in basketball it took many many years for teams to learn the superiority of emphasizing the 3 point shot in the offense. Because 3 is worth more than 2.
Now coaches are realizing that going for it on 4th down in mid-field or in other team's territory is numerically/analytically the superior choice to punting.
It was still a bad choice though by Bronco. Point was to try to win the game. Was it a higher chance of getting a turnover or to just go for it and get the 1st down? I think higher chances of going for it and getting the 1st down.
Bronco did not need to make choices that lead to losing in order to turnaround a culture.
But I get that Bronco is a defensive coach like Kalani. Even Kalani has had horrible choices to punt that have lost games for us.
