Thanks for sharing the recipe of how not to recruit Utah leaning families and recruits. If we do the exact opposite we may yet have a chance. The University of Utah is a very fine school and offers a superior education to that of BYU in several of its major programs. Pac-12 basketball was in the Final 4 last year so there's that too. You are correct in that BYU is much more attractive under Coach Pope particularly when compared to the last several years of his predecessor.
There is simply no need to make BYU look worse by attempting to disparage the competition. Let's focus instead on what BYU can offer to Collin and his family that he may be challenged to find at many other options:
1. Easy access for family and friends to watch his games
2. Challenging academics
3. Coaches with NBA experience
4. Strong NIL support from administration and coaches
5 Safe environment with excellent social networking opportunities
6. Top 25 trending
7. Player's coaches who are really fun to play under
8. New practice facility
9. Robust strength and conditioning program
