You could make a case for Astrid Tuminez. She’s the current president of UVU
and an active member of the Church. She has leadership experience, a strong business background, and now has 3 years of experience running the largest (depending on the year) university in the state as far as student population. She’s been a great asset to UVU.
It would be a solid and landmark hire for BYU as far as hiring a woman and a racial minority.
She’s also a big sports fan and goes to as many sporting events at UVU as possible.
