BYU has had some great ones, but unfortunately top level RBs are usually one level deep at BYU. When they go down (and they usually do), the next man up is usually quite a drop in talent level. Right now I don't see anybody on the roster that is close to Allgeier's level. If they were, we'd being see them get some playing time. The only other player that his really sniffed the field is Katoa and his role has actually gotten smaller as Tyler has become a bigger star.

Hopefully in the future we can get some game changing depth at this position. BYU can't afford to play a P5 schedule and expect to win with only 1 really good RB.
