For starters, you don't have to go undefeated in a major conference
and I never said I expect every season to be great. There's quite a big difference between my expectations and what you are saying my expectations are.
All I'm saying is that BYU isn't even giving itself a real chance with this defensive philosophy. BYU probably won't ever have the talent to even wina water-down Big XII but at least they could give themselves the opportunity every so often. But it ain't ever happening unless the defense gets a lot less vanilla.
