been fair weather. It’s worse now but that could be more due to Covid jitters, of which the west coast has way more than their fair share.

I attended a PAC 12 school for grad school and was blown away at how apathetic the students were towards their sports teams, which were historically very good. That was 15 years ago. I’m guessing it’s about the same now.
