My 88 yr old dad got into vanity plates in the 90s. (so he was in his 60s)
It was kinda funny. All of us kids were like...Huh?
A few of the plates made 'sense'. (i.e. a BYU one) But when he got one that had my mom's initials...including her maiden name...us kids finally convinced him how dumb they were. I mean, that plate had 4 letters on it that made absolutely no sense to anyone who cared to pay attention.
