How is it possible that there is an untouched ancient ruin in that mine? It doesn’t seem whatsoever realistic that a few kids could just jump onto a mine elevator thing and drop on down.

Also, why is the mom not phased at all when Spangler’s spirit starts communicating with her through lights and lamps? She goes along with it like it’s completely normal.

Why does the mom drop straight out of the evil dog gargoyle when a ghost trap is under it, but the other two turn to stone and have to break out?

Why was that one founder of the city perfectly preserved in a coffin under ground?

Anyway, those are just a few things that didn’t add up to me.
