I am looking to buy Zelda digital off of gamestop. If I buy it digitally and let's say someday my kids get the portable Switch to have an extra would we be able to also play it on there? Or in this scenario would it be better to have a physical copy?

I'm thinking it's likely that if my kids like the Switch we get a travel one so that they can play on road trips. Want to make sure I don't have to double buy games.
