that the top candidate for the USC job is Dave Aranda from Baylor. Aranda grew up in So Cal and has deep roots their. This echoes the opinion of the LA Times USC guy that Aranda is the top candidate. He has Kalani as around #6.
I think the only other job that Kalani would possibly be interested in is Washington. I really don't see Washington as a more attractive job for Kalani than his current job. The money would be a bit better but why leave for a rebuild job when he has found the formula for success in Provo and he can be here as long as he likes. Remember that his two role models Lavelle and Kyle stayed at the same place. James Franklin signing a 10 year extension at Penn St may be a very telling sign. I also believe strongly that deep pocketed BYU alumni will come through for Kalani and his staff.
